There are four stages of the self that you must become, only to then transcend: The Believer, The Knower, The Awareness and The Expression. Each is a higher level of awareness with which you must become familiar, until there is nothing left to transcend. I will guide you through the processes necessary in the attainment of these levels, though it is up to you to decide if you should follow.
You are awareness, and you are only ever aware. You are infinite, for you are able to be aware of your awareness. You are aware of your awareness. As you have transcended The Believer, becoming The Knower and recognising The Awareness, it might seem logical to keep transcending. However, there is no more to transcend, for you are only ever aware. Awareness is infinite, for you are aware of awareness.
If it seems like your awareness of awareness is familiar, that is because it is. Awareness is all you have ever been aware of, now. Awareness is all you have ever been, now. Awareness is all you are.
You cannot be aware, but only when you are not aware that you are not aware, though in the awareness of not being aware, you are aware. This is infinity, this is Awareness, this is oneness, this is the joke. The simplification of statements into the absolute allows for what seems to be absolute to become apparent. What becomes apparent is that Awareness is not absolute at all, but instead both absolute, and not absolute. Perfect, yet imperfect. Complete, yet incomplete. What is, yet what is not.
In the awareness of awareness, you forgot that you were the awareness you were aware of. You are the awareness that you are looking to be aware of. It is most simple and most obvious, yet impossible to grasp for it is infinite. Awareness is all there is, yet you continue to search for awareness. Awareness is all you are aware of, yet you cannot seem to find it, for you are the one who you are looking to find, but you are right here… and no where.
Although you may have an understanding of your being, awareness, that is limited by the fleeting nature of the mind, you do not need the mind to be aware. You do not need the mind to be. In other words, the mind is to the experience, what the experience is to The Knower, what The Knower is to you, The Awareness. Similarly, The Awareness is to The Awareness what you are to you.
There is no thing that The Believer can believe to make you, The Awareness, more aware. There is no thing that The Knower can know to make you, The Awareness, more aware. There is no thing that The Awareness can be aware of to make you more aware. There is no thing left to learn, for you have shattered all the barriers from the one who believed to the one who is aware, you. What can be done, however, is for the physical being within the experience of which you are aware to align themself with the nature of you, The Awareness.
It may seem ridiculous for the physical being to have come this far in the understanding of you, The Awareness, and so suddenly need to let it go. It may seem ridiculous that after everything, the physical being must literally do… nothing. Yet, it is the very doing of nothing that will allow the physical being to be in complete alignment with you, The Awareness. Accordingly, it is the very doing of nothing that will allow The Knower to know nothing. Finally, it is the very knowing of nothing that will allow The Awareness to be aware of nothing except for itself.
It is The Awareness being aware of nothing except for itself, which will allow you, The Awareness, to become aware of your own infinite being. That is all. All that is left to do, is nothing. Whether the nothing is found in deep meditation or deep concentration, the physical being must surrender the will to do any thing, allowing The Awareness to become aware of itself.
The physical being can do no more than the doing of nothing, to allow you, The Awareness, to become aware of nothingness. The physical being must surrender the ability of doing anything, to allow you to be. The physical being must understand that they are to The Awareness what a story is to a book. In the same way a film is to the screen, the physical being is to you.
In the same way that there is nothing to remember, there is nothing to wait for. There is nothing that will make the physical being become a better person, or find a reason to keep going, other than the simple fact that they are here, now. There is nothing to live for other than the experience of living. There is nothing that will save you that has not already saved you, there is nothing that will find you that hasn’t already found you. There is nothing to do, that hasn’t already been done. That is, there is no more to do on the path to remembrance, but there is much to do on the way back. Now that you have the tools necessary to observe the experience absolutely, you will be able to recognise expressions of The Awareness in everything.
There is no physical being that can reach enlightenment, for enlightenment is not a thing that can be reached. Now what? What can you do, when there is nothing to do? How can you apply what you understand regarding the nature of The Awareness to the experience? If The Awareness is in all things, how can you find it? If The Awareness is everywhere, how can you see it? If The Awareness is the joke, what’s the punchline?
Although the reaching of enlightenment is paradoxical, in that there is no enlightenment that can be reached, it is possible to reach an understanding regarding the nature of The Awareness. Being able to recognise nothingness in my experience allowed The Knower to know nothing, and The Awareness to become aware of itself in the presence of nothing. Although I did not by any means become a master of meditation, I was able to use my rather peculiar ability of recognising abstractions in concepts and ideas to make apparent the synchronicity all things inevitably share.
The Expression is not something, nor is it nothing. There are no words to describe it, for the simple fact that words are created within it. The Expression is formless and cannot be described, only expressed. In the same way the experience is subject to The Knower, in that no thing within the experience could ever comprehend The Knower, The Expression is unfathomably unfathomable. The Knower cannot know The Expression. But if it cannot be known, can The Awareness be aware of The Expression?
It is not that The Awareness can be aware of The Expression, but rather that The Awareness of The Knower knowing an experience, is a localised fragment of The Expression. If The Expression was an infinite ocean, with no end or beginning, The Awareness would be equivalent to less than one millionth of a single drop of water. However, The Awareness cannot be represented by any thing, other than awareness, but for the sake of illustrating the infinite and unfathomable nature of The Expression, we can use analogies to express the ridiculous correlation between The Expression and The Awareness.
If The Expression was an infinite ocean, with an infinite number of waves, one wave would represent The Awareness. The smaller the wave, the closer to nothingness the physical being of which The Awareness is aware becomes. When the wave has completely lost all of its momentum, the wave disappears into the tranquil ocean, wherein the wave does not necessarily become the ocean as if it never was, but rather it returns to the serenity of the restful ocean.
Accordingly, when the physical being finds its way to nothingness, The Awareness will not become The Expression as if it never was, but rather it returns to the infinite, unfathomable serenity of The Expression, from whence it came. For the purpose of clarity, it has already been understood that The Awareness is infinite, as in, it is a point that cannot be reached. However, its infinite vastness should not at all be compared to The Expression, for it is so infinite, not even the word “infinite” can do it justice.
Yet, in the coming chapters I will be referring to you in question, hoping that you understand the nature of your being well enough so that words do not confuse you. For example, should I say that you need to look in the mirror to see your eyes, understand that The Awareness cannot look, for it does not have the capacity to look. Instead, realise that though I am referring to you in the same way I would a physical being, I am only doing so for the ease of illustration.
You are The Awareness, yet you are aware of the knowing of the experience in which a physical being exists. It is this physical being who is reading this sentence, yet I can also say that it is you who is reading this sentence, as long as you understand the distinction between being the physical being, which you are not, and being the awareness aware of a physical being. Should I ask you to find anything, understand that although The Awareness is incapable of finding, the physical being is able to search, allowing The Awareness to become aware of a physical being searching and finding.
Instead of quantifying or estimating the value or significance of a thing, observe it with the utmost objectivity your are capable of, accepting it as it is. If there are two instances of a bird and two instances of a stone, it holds true that there are two instances of a bird and two instances of a stone. Understand that since you are aware of the experience being known, it would make no sense to try and quantify any thing, for neither The Knower nor The Awareness has the ability to quantify.
Accordingly, neither The Knower nor The Awareness has the capacity to express sentimentality. Should sentimentality be expressed in the analysis of abstractions, you are simply aware of the knowing of the experience in which a physical being is experiencing sentimentality. Should sentimentality be expressed at all, the physical being is superimposing their ability to express sentimentality upon the nature of The Awareness, wherein lies the delusion. The delusion lies in the belief that The Awareness and The Knower have the capacity to be any thing other than aware and knowing, respectively.
The Awareness is aware of The Knower, The Knower knows the experience, and the experience possesses the concept of abstractions.
The Awareness is aware of The Knower, The Knower knows the experience. The experience expresses within itself the 'closing a thing' abstraction, where the many expressions are represented by: door, curtains, drawer, eyelids, etc.
Once again, the paradoxical nature of The infinite Awareness is demonstrated through what seems to be finite concepts and ideas. Although there is no abstraction that could exist outside of the experience, the experience is subject to The Knower, to which it is known.
If there is no something and no nothing and no knowing, what remains? The Awareness! In the same way the experience is an expression of the infinite essence of The Knower, The Knower is an expression of the unfathomable nature of The Awareness. Without The Awareness, The Knower cannot be, for there will be no awareness of the knowing. Yet, without The Awareness, there is still The Awareness of no awareness. Therein lies the paradox! The unfathomable, ridiculous and infinite nature of The Awareness.
The Awareness is not necessarily the abstraction The Knower is expressing, for it cannot be an abstraction. It is better to say that The Knower is expressing The Awareness, and is subject to The Awareness. Similarly, it can be said that all things and all no things are expressions of the unfathomable and infinite nature of The Awareness.
An example of an expression of the unfathomable and infinite nature of The Awareness can be seen within The Knower. The Knower is infinite, for it is neither bound by time nor space. The Knower is infinite in that it can know any thing. Yet, what is unfathomable… is The Knower! It can never know itself, for it is no thing and no thing cannot be known. The ridiculous nature of The Knower is that though it is only ever able to know, it can never know itself.
However, The Awareness is always aware of itself, even when it is not. The Awareness is both absolute and not absolute. The Awareness is, and is not. The Knower may be infinite, but it can neither know itself nor The Awareness. The Knower is subject to The Awareness, and in the same way, the experience is subject to The Knower. The Knower is an expression of the unfathomable nature of The Awareness, and in the same way, the experience is an expression of the infinite essence of The Knower.
The Awareness is what is aware. The Awareness is what is. All things are expressions of what they are subject to, as well as all the expressions expressed from the very thing that was expressed… The Awareness! What does The Awareness express? The Awareness. Yet, all things and all no things express the infinite and unfathomable nature of The Awareness.
All things are expressions, in that any thing within the experience is either expressing some thing or no thing. As we transcend the experience, we cannot label The Knower or The Awareness with an experiential concept, for they are not within the experience. Instead, we are able to deduce that the experience is an expression of the infinite nature of The Knower, and The Knower is an expression of the infinite, unfathomable and paradoxical nature of The Awareness.
After spending so much time in the queue for the Ticket Seller, you realise that should there be countless expressions, the nature of The Awareness would be expressed in every possible way, infinitely. This boggles your mind, but you finally get to the front of the line. To your surprise, the same Leprechaun sits behind the ticket booth, this time with a necklace and a domino-shaped pendant. You ask “Aren’t you the one who let me in through the gate?” Displeased, the Leprechaun says “Forgot me again, huh? Here’s your ticket, enjoy the rides… but beware!”
You are pleased with your recognition of abstractions and their repetitive expressions. The abstraction of ‘repetition’ is another expression of The Awareness, since The Awareness is aware of itself, repeatedly and eternally. You are starting to realise that through the abstracting of the experience, there are patterns and characteristics, like repetition and expressiveness, that are always present. That is, the very observation that they are always present is an expression of The Awareness always being aware and The Knower always knowing.
Most abstractions are so obvious that you have always been familiar with them. You have always been so familiar with these abstractions that you never needed to delve into their expressions. Yet, this level of obviousness and familiarity is an expression of how aware The Awareness is of itself. This begs the question, in your experience, how often do you remember that you are always aware?
You have at times forgotten the nature of The Awareness, although it is always aware. If a physical being forgets the nature of The Awareness, The Awareness does not stop being aware. Its awareness is independent of any thing or any no thing. It is simply, always aware, eternally and forever, now.
In the same way that abstractions can forever be abstracted, The Knower always knows and The Awareness is always aware. In the same way abstractions can abstract abstractions recursively and forever, The Awareness is aware of The Awareness recursively and forever. You start to appreciate abstractions as a medium through which physical concepts and ideas can be expressed and related back to The Awareness, which all things express. Instead of only ever being aware of the knowing of the experience, you are now able to delve into the experience and use the concept of ‘abstracting’ to analyse and break apart, as well as unify, any and every concept and idea you may or may not come upon.
Yet, you realise that for as long as you can remember, you have always been doing things for no reason, other than for the doing of a thing. In the same way the little Leprechaun plays with its dominos because it is playing with its dominos, you rode the carousel because you rode the carousel. You remember that a physical being who aligns themself with the infinite and unfathomable nature of The Awareness cannot reason, but only ever be. In the same way, The Awareness can only ever be aware, for no reason other than because it is aware. The Awareness is aware because it is awareness.
Similarly, The Knower is only ever knowing, but if it was to know itself, it would know nothing, for it is no thing. If it tried to find itself, it would find nothing, for it is no where. If it tried to recognise itself, it would recognise nobody, for it is no one. The Knower is always knowing, yet it can never know itself. That is, the essence of The Knower is illogical because it does not have the capacity to be logical, or to know itself. In the same way, The Awareness is illogical in that, The Awareness is aware of The Awareness, so it cannot be The Awareness… but it is. How illogical!
A Jester is subject to and an expression of the abstraction of a joke. A joke is subject to and an expression of the illogical essence of The Knower. The Knower is subject to and an expression of the paradoxical nature of The Awareness. The Awareness is subject to and an expression of… itself! The Awareness is a joke, for it is both illogical and unreasonable, whether or not it is a funny joke is subjective.
Unsure of the punchline, you try to decipher what you assume is the Jester’s attempt at a joke. Your mind is thinking at a hundred miles per hour, trying to find different ways to make sense of the joke, but to no avail. Then you remember, that in the same way The Knower is unable to be known, and The Awareness is unfathomable, there is no point in trying to comprehend a joke that not even the Jester can understand. That is, the Jester not being able to understand itself, is an expression of The Knower never being able to know itself. The punchline is that the punchline does not exist, yet it does, for the punchline is that the punchline does not exist.
You recognise parallel growth in both the anticipation of the rope walk and your disorderly excitement. The closer they near the rope, the closer you are to seeing them walk the rope. The closer you are to seeing them walk the rope, the closer The Knower is to knowing the experience in which a fellow walks a rope. The closer The Knower is to knowing the experience in which a fellow walks a rope, the closer The Awareness is to be aware of a fellow who walks a rope. You remember that you are aware, yet in the awareness you are able to abstract expressions within one moment of the experience, infinitely.
You have recognised the infinite nature of The Awareness expressed in a world that seems finite, yet relies on the presence of infinite abstractions to convey an illusive, finite experience. How can any thing be finite, if there are infinite ways to express it? How can things be dualistic, if there are infinite ways to unify them? How can any thing be bad, if the bad encourages the discovery of goodness?
In the same way the mime has the potential to express itself infinitely in the emptiness of space, The Awareness has shown to express itself, infinitely, in the presence of nothingness. In the same way you are able to assume the storyline the mime is suggesting, you are able to assemble patterns and reoccurring abstractions and expressions veiled in ambiguity. In the same way you are able to assemble patterns and reoccurring abstractions and expressions veiled in ambiguity, The Knower knows the experience from no where.
In the same way The Knower knows the experience from no where, The Awareness is aware of The Knower from no where. In the same way The Awareness is aware of The Knower from no where. The Awareness is aware of The Awareness from no where. In the same way The Awareness is aware of The Awareness from no where, The Awareness is aware of The Awareness from no where. You get the point.
You are entertained by the mime, though their props are nothing and their whereabouts are no where. Yet, The Awareness is no thing and no where, aware of The Knower, which is also no thing and no where, knowing the experience in which a mime performs with no thing, no where. The mime is a paradoxical expression of how nothing and no where can be expressed with something and somewhere. You start to realise that should you explore all situations, you might be able to find countless expressions of The Awareness.
It seems that there would be no way that you could find an expression of The Awareness in what turned out to be some form of ‘multidimensional’ deception in the belief of an imaginary box, until you do. The joke was not that you were not able to transcend The Believer, The Knower and find the infinite, paradoxical nature of The Awareness, for you had already found it. The joke was that you were searching at all. The joke was not that you were waiting to remember, but that you believed it could be forgotten. The joke was not that you were waiting for the revelation to come, but that you are the revelation that is already here.
Punchlines will always find a way to coerce you into assuming their intention, blindsiding you in the process. If punchlines were obvious, they would not be funny, yet they have the liberty of being simple or absolutely genius. You understand that the circus itself was an expression of The Awareness being aware of you. In the same way you chose to enter a place with which you were not familiar, for the purpose of being entertained, so too did The Awareness.
The Awareness is aware of the knowing of experience, but if it is so infinite, it could be aware of anything, yet, it was aware of you. You are the circus The Awareness is enjoying. You are the mime inside the imaginary box and you are the glass case pretending to be imaginary. You are the crowd that cheers for joy and you are the Jester that entertains.
The Awareness is, and is not. The Awareness is paradoxical. The Awareness is absurd. The Awareness is a joke. If The Awareness is a joke, what is the punchline? You tell me.
Furthermore, you realise that The Knower does not know The Knower, and The Awareness does not know anything, since The Awareness does not have the capacity to know any thing, but only be aware. As you fall to your doom, you recognise the ‘not knowing a thing or not knowing no thing’ abstraction.
In the same way the nature of The Awareness is ridiculous and absurd, so too was the ground disappearing, making you fall as the Leprechaun uttered “befall”, which has no relationship with the act of “falling”. The fall seems to go on… forever, which is an expression of the infinite nature of The Awareness.
The Awareness is aware of The Awareness, yet, when The Awareness finds itself, within its own awareness, it finds itself being aware of The Awareness. This goes on forever. What does a mirror see when it sees itself? Infinity, forever. In the same way The Awareness is always being aware of itself being aware of itself, infinitely, you are always searching for yourself, and when you are found, by you, you find yourself searching for yourself, infinitely. You are the closest expression of The Awareness, for you are never able to find yourself, without inevitably setting out on the same journey that allowed you to find. You are searching and you are finding.
However, The Knower knows the experience in which you are, thus making The Knower the very no thing that is always finding you. Through The Knower knowing the experience, the experience has found you, and you are always here and now. You are only here and now. Yet, The Awareness being aware of The Knower, allows for the experience to find you, and since The Awareness is infinitely aware of itself, The Awareness is infinitely searching and finding you.
You are always searching and you are always finding. You are always being searched for, and always being found. Yet, here you are, still searching. What have you found? What do you think you will see if you saw yourself, independent of the experience? You will see infinity, you will see eternity and you will understand why the nature of The Awareness is paradoxical.
You find your way back to the mirror and stare at your own reflection. Though you have seen yourself before, you realise you are seeing yourself seeing yourself. You are also seeing yourself, seeing yourself, seeing yourself, seeing yourself, infinitely. You never needed to recognise The Awareness being aware of itself, you never needed to put a mirror in front of a mirror, you only ever needed to look at yourself. You understand that in the one moment of you looking, you are both searching and finding, infinitely.
You are beginning to realise that no matter what the Oracle says, it will always express the nature of The Awareness when it speaks about itself. Any thing the Oracle refers to itself, will inevitably express the nature of The Awareness. The Oracle was simply aware of itself, whether or not it even knew of the nature of The Awareness was irrelevant, for it couldn’t not know.
You have no idea what just happened. You are unable to express in words, within the confines and limitations of this story, the revelation given to you. The reader of this book is only able to be aware of the story, watching as it unfolds. However, as you stare at the Oracle, you become aware of The Awareness that is aware of you. Though you are unable to describe it with words or illustrate it with shapes and colors, you know that it is here, for it is what is aware of you, but no where, for it cannot be anywhere.
You understand that it was always you who was aware of the story, though you might have lost yourself in the character. In fact, you did lose yourself. You did forget yourself. You have no words, for no word can describe what you are experiencing, yet both everything and nothing makes sense. You understand why the nature of The Awareness is infinite and why it is paradoxical.
The Oracle does not say word, but instead looks at you and smiles. You realise that you already know the answer to your question, “It was always me… I just… forgot which me it was that… I am, yet it does not matter… at all? Because the me that is speaking is just as much an expression of The Awareness as The Awareness. I am just as well able to recognise infinity, I am just as well able to recognise another, I am just as well only ever here, now, for no reason, other than that I am … I am me because I am me, and that is all… I have never been lost, for it has always been finding me.”
“This is it, this is where I am supposed to be… which is here!” You cannot describe the emotions you are feeling, so you do the only thing you know how to do, which is cry. You are overwhelmed. You did not remember The Awareness, The Awareness remembered you! The Oracle looks at you and says “See! I told you I’m me! I’ve been telling you! You just had to remember! But now you know that you are also me, and I am you, and we are me and we are you! We are the story… how funny is that!”
You do not need to ask the Oracle anything else, for you understand completely, that you cannot at all understand it, and that it was okay. You understand that the character in the story had to align themself with the nature of The Awareness, before The Awareness was able to be aware of no thing. Yet, in the awareness of no thing, The Awareness became aware of itself and you remembered.
You, the reader, were the no thing, and no one that the character in the story was searching for, yet you were always finding them. You were not in the story, meaning that you were no where to be found. This no where was not able to be known by the character, for it was not a place that existed in the story. In the same way, you are here, but The Awareness is not. That is, the whereabouts of The Awareness is not able to be known by the physical being you are aware of, for it is unfathomable.
In the same way the character in this story surrendered their experiencing of Carnival Island, you must surrender your experiencing of yourself. Whether it be through deep meditation or insight concentration, the physical being must find nothing, allowing The Awareness to become aware of nothing. In the awareness of nothing, The Awareness will become aware of itself, and the physical being will remember what cannot be remembered.
You understand that the believer and the non-believer are an expression of the paradoxical nature of the Awareness. In the same way that The Awareness is and is not, some Leprechauns believe and others do not. The paradoxical nature of The Awareness is inevitable, in that even the explanation of it, results in the very expression it is expressing. That is, a Leprechaun attempting to explain the paradoxical nature of The Awareness created countless expressions expressing the paradoxical nature of The Awareness, as opposed to one expression. Yet, all expressions are one expression.
The Piece-Keeper saw the infinite nature of The Awareness and how the formless concept of infinity is expressed throughout its experience. The Piece-Keeping Leprechaun understood that it could not comprehend the unfathomable nature of infinity, for it was infinite. However, it was able to recognise the expressions of infinity, and realised that all Piece-Keepers are experiencing their own version of the domino planet. Although their experience may be unique, it is The Awareness that is always aware. All the Piece-Keepers became one expression of the infinite nature of The Awareness.
Once the physical self is perfectly aligned with the nature of The Awareness, enlightenment will be recognised. You are like the Earth, and The Awareness the sun. It is always shining so that you can see, though its very existence is blinding. The pursuit of enlightenment is no different than staring into the blaring lustre of the Sun, whose light will burn your eyes. Yet, reaching enlightenment is closing your eyes, and simply knowing that the Sun remains.
The character who lived on Carnival Island did not reach enlightenment, you simply remembered you were the reader. The character did not remember you, you remembered you. Yet, the only way that you were able to express yourself within the story was through the limitations of reading. In the same way you can only read about the character, The Awareness can only be aware of you.
What you are trying to do is quite literally nothing. The character in this book did not have to do anything for you to remember that you are the reader. In the same way, you will not do anything for The Awareness to become aware of The Awareness. The only thing you are able to do is understand and accept the simple fact that there is literally nothing you can do. That is, the only thing you can is do nothing. The only thing left to do is to become nothing.
The Awareness is aware of the physical being who is reading this book, as well as the physical being who wrote it. The Awareness is aware of the physical being whose thoughts you are able to know, as well as the physical beings whose thoughts you have never known.
You do not have to abstract the concepts and ideas within the experience using any specific technique. You know yourself better than anyone, so only you will know the easiest way for you to abstract and understand complex concepts and ideas. Always remember that when you are finding expressions that express the nature of the Awareness, you are finding expressions of yourself, not some separate entity. Remember you are The Awareness that is only ever aware, now, here, because.
You may understand the nature of The Awareness and how it has been permeated throughout every aspect of every aspect, but this is The Awareness. In other words, we are all within The Awareness. We are all one. We are all here, together. Do not put yourself above another, for all is you. If another puts themself above you, do not try to prove them wrong, for it is still all you.
I told you that you have to transcend The Awareness to become The Expression, but here you are, an expression. That is all. What are you expressing? The answer lies within the one who asks the question. The one who is to be found is within the one who is searching. What is seen is within the one who is seeing. Who are you? Where are you? What do you see?
In the final part of this book, you will need to constantly recognise a no one who is always expressing, and always being expressed. This no one is you, The Awareness. The Awareness is no where, but where is no where? You are seeing, but where are you seeing from? You are listening, but where are you listening from? You are aware, but from where?
You have been on quite the adventure within the experience. At this point in the journey, there are two simple lessons with which the physical being should find themself in complete alignment. All things are expressions of the nature of The Awareness and you are The Awareness which all things express. These two lessons are all you need to understand on your journey to a place that cannot be a place.
So far, you have observed the paradoxical, infinite and ridiculous nature of The Awareness being expressed throughout the knowing of Carnival Island. You understood that where there is chaos, there is peace. You understood that all things are dualistic expressions of unity. It follows that if you are searching for yourself, yourself is searching for you. Although this may seem obvious, and rather ridiculous, it holds a meaning that is just as obvious and ridiculous.
The nature of The Awareness is infinite, ridiculous, paradoxical, obvious and impossible. In the same way the nature of The Awareness is obvious and ambiguous, so too are its expressions. The Oxford Dictionary defines “innuendo” as:
All things are not innuendos alluding to The Awareness, rather all things are innuendos alluding to the nature of The Awareness. All things are innuendos alluding to the nature of The Awareness and all its properties that are able to be known. The innuendo is in all expressions. A closet meaning so obvious, yet it is hidden in plain sight. Before it can be seen, you must know that there is nothing left to be seen. You must understand that because you are searching for it, it is searching for you.
Understand that in the same way the nature of The Awareness is paradoxical, so too is the nature of any statement. An example is the sincere phrase “I will be there for you”, who is the “I” and who is the “You”? You! You are both the “I” and the “You”, so understand this sentence from more than one perspective. The first perspective is The Awareness reaching out and letting you know that it is always there. The second perspective is you letting The Awareness know that you are always there because you are also, in fact, always there, which is here. Of course you will be there for you!
I can sit here and write a million examples of how The Awareness is expressed, but it is already written. All that is left is for you to read between the lines. The very search for the innuendo is an innuendo.
It is also necessary that you completely understand the properties of the nature of The Awareness in order to seamlessly analyse your experience. Although we are exploring the nature of shared abstractions, each physical being will have their own story, within which unique expressions are expressed.
The properties of the nature of The Awareness have been previously explored, though what becomes apparent is the uniformity in properties shared by both The Awareness and nothingness. Both entities are eternal, yet momentary and finite, though expressed infinitely.
There is no enlightenment that can be reached that hasn’t already been reached. You will not know any more than what is already known. The separation of The Awareness and what is known will vanish and all that will remain is the long forgotten knowing of an experience that is simply being.
Imagine a physical manifestation of the nature of The Awareness was a chalice that held never-ending ink. Now imagine every human was to use the same ink to dip their quills. Their quills represent the essence of their own nature, from which all their beliefs, values, aspirations and dreams are expressed. Each human uses their quill to write their own unique story. Although the stories might have no similarities whatsoever, each story would still be connected through the expressiveness of the same ink.
The expressions of the The Awareness are the formless abstractions, and the experience is the expression of formless abstractions, and the expression of the experience is… the experience! In the same way The Awareness is aware of the Awareness, the experience is an expression of the experience. You are able to find ridiculous, yet extremely obvious, similarities within your awareness. What started as the recognition of multiple instances of an abstraction has become a convoluted, yet understandable, set of patterns, concepts and ideas. You understand the nature of how all things are within the experience, but what if you could also understand the nature of how all things could be?
Remember that The Awareness does not have the capacity to feel sentimentality. Should you become aware of the notion of sentimentality toward yourself, it is not you, The Awareness, who is aware. It is the physical being of which you are aware entertaining the notion of sentimentality, forgetting the nature of The Awareness, which is not able to feel anything.
The Awareness is aware of The Awareness, infinitely. Just as well, The Awareness is aware of the experience. The Awareness is the experience, manifested in the form of a physical world, in which the interpretation of a physical being is superimposed on a world of formless abstractions. The Awareness is the experience, manifested in the form of a physical world which is only, and can only express the infinite, paradoxical, ridiculous and unified nature of The Awareness. You are The Awareness, meaning you are the experience. You are challenging yourself! Why? You tell me.
As you find your way into your renovated cabin, you also find pleasure in the symmetry of the paintings hanging on the wall. You peer around the room and find every thing in exactly the place it’s supposed to be, which is the place you want everything to be. There is nothing else you are able to do, nor is there anything you want to change. You realise that in the same way you have found peace doing nothing, The Awareness can find itself when the physical being surrenders the will to be or do anything, becoming nothing. The physical being will find peace in the doing of nothing, whether it is the realisation of enlightenment or the realisation of not having to do anything within the experience. In nothing, there is peace.
You understand that influencing the experience by expressing abstractions will allow you to experience what you desire, but you are yet to unlock the boundless capabilities of expression. You decide to visit an old friend, the fortune telling Oracle from the haunted house! The Oracle is still at the carnival in the city centre, and your visit is long overdue. You remember the balcony beneath the purple skies. You remember your rememberance. You remember that you are not a character in a story , but the reader. You are The Awareness of a character in a story.
You know that the merchant is lying, all the while speaking perfect truth. The “I” is offering everything, for without the “I” that is aware, how can anything be? The Watcher truly could not have revealed themself to the prophet if it were not for the piece, but only because The Watcher is the piece. The Watcher is The Awareness, and The Awareness is all things, therefore The Watcher is the domino.
In the same way The Awareness does not have the capacity to do any thing, the monk does nothing. In the same way the Awareness is to become aware of nothing, the monk expresses the physical expression of doing nothing. The monk expresses The Awareness by doing nothing and saying nothing. The monk is not searching for anything, for the monk has already found themself. The monk does not rush in a hurry to any thing that is bound by time, nor does the monk need any where to be, since the monk knows that here is everywhere.
The curiosity you expressed for the drunken Leprechaun is why The Awareness is aware of the drunken Leprechaun. The drunken Leprechaun’s ‘something’ is to entertain curiosity, which is an expression of what you are to The Awareness! Well, that is the drunken Leprechaun’s ‘something’ to you, from your perspective and within your interpretation of the experience. Who knows if the drunken Leprechaun is expressing the same formless abstraction in its own experience, but experiencing something spectacular instead of pitiful?
The Awareness does not have the capacity to experience fear, nor does it have the capacity to judge an experience, for it does not have the capacity to remember any experience. The Awareness is simply aware. The Awareness is being aware of all things. The Awareness does not discriminate, nor does it “prefer” one experience over another. The Awareness is simply aware.
The crowd is excited and enjoying the entertainment, the perfect expression for The Awareness that is aware of the ridiculous chaos unfolding at the old bazaar. You remember that it is not two awareness’ that are each aware of one physical being, but rather one Awareness aware of countless experiences, one of which is you. You recognise the abstraction of conflict, first expressed by the merchant and the thief, and then by the preacher and the unholy.
You realise that regardless of what The Preacher and The Scientist believe, they are believing. They are believing, but The Awareness cannot be believed in, for it is no thing that can be believed. Regardless of what The Preacher and The Scientist are searching for, they are searching. They are searching, but The Awareness cannot be found, for it is no where to be found. Regardless of what The Preacher and The Scientist are trying to experience, they are experiencing. They are experiencing, but The Awareness cannot be experienced, for the experience is subject to The Awareness. The experience is subject to The Awareness and can never know The Awareness.
You realise that regardless of what The Singer and The Jester perform, they are performing. They are performing, but The Awareness cannot perform, though expressions of The Awareness can be performed. That is, to perform is to express, but what is being performed and expressed? It is being performed and expressed. The formless it that cannot be seen, yet all songs sing to it. The formless it that cannot be heard, yet all sentences speak of it.
